I'd love to run the Dallas Stars as a 2nd if they came in. That'd be fun! I like me some Texas teams! Dibs the 2017 Jets.

I don't like 1b. Fans in Quebec aren't coming to our games no more, we want a committed fan base like Colorado. We can kidnap them, brainwash them, and make them committed. We have the technology. Can confirm.

Welp, I see why those talks died. (joking) What do you think a 3 overall upgrade and 3 YR downgrade are worth? For him, 75% of what I initially gave him for Lemieux. But that trade was for Lemieux and Jagr. So are you seeking 75% of half of that trade?

Please note, this is a DISCUSSION, not any indication we are moving forward with anything, or any ideas are set in stone. I am REALLY curious to see what everyone thinks, and hear everyone's ideas about this in full detail. Questions to address: 1) How many new teams? 1a) How do we decide? Do we vote? Do we start with 1 per season and move gradually? 1b) Can I bring in Colorado without moving Quebec? (Because I want both here) 2) How do we do it? Expansion draft? Build them from Free agency? 2a) If expansion draft, how many players per team are we exposing? 3) Clearly state you are okay moving back farther in the draft. Especially for picks you traded good assets for. 4) How do you feel about having a would-be 1st overall pick that becomes a later pick because of expansion, then seeing that pick go to a fellow GM's SECOND team, rather than your only team. Are the majority of us okay with this? 5) What is your favourite part about the IDEA of expansion? 6) Would you be opposed to a new expansion draft system that takes team depth into account or possibly allows people to take multiple players from a single team? (so, for example, a team playing 78s overall is not forced to lose a 78 they play while another team gets to keep an 82 that they do not play cuz depth?) 7) Will you rage-quit like a little bitch if we bring in an expansion? Expansion draft? Other? 8) Without factoring in league numbers and members, just looking an NHL history and draft history etc, when (what year) do you think would be ideal for an expansion? 9) (Original) Austin is new. 9) (edited after Mike's first reply) Every time Toronto Maple Leafs thinks, his penis turns into an innie. 1) 3 new teams - even out the divisions. a) we can vote, not sure. I'd figure out the teams first. I'm pretty sure I've suggested some to you previously, like Florida, San Jose, and Colorado b) yes 2) expansion draft a) Every team keeps 8 Fs and 3/4D 1G. Teams coming in potentially all get top 5 picks in said draft and early dibs on UFA. These teams should be stronger than Atlanta/Columbus, but not a Vegas imo. 3) yes 4) I don't care 5) adding more teams and rounding out the league. the remainding questions are petty. same with the last 2. If someone quits over this, I honestly wouldn't care.

I'll be the GM of the Minnesota North Stars, Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Timberwolves. Then in 1 season, The North Stars will fold and the Timberwolves will return to the NBA. And the Minnesota Wild will become the Minnesorta North Wild Wolves. Wasn't sure where this was going, but dammit if it didn't stick the landing.

Ok, I don't have the time to do this, but when Detroit said he'd love to run the Stars, imagine that I posted a picture of the Dallas Stars' cup winning team, and then put red lines next to every single player and wrote "traded for something worse" next to every single one of them.
