You actually play Brodeur as your starter. Fuhr has been the backup in Edmonton. He plays all his goalies almost equal Ya all starts face more so more chancs to get scord on than backups? Is montreal offerin price for sakic then Sure he can have Price for Sakic... |

He has been starting Potvin. I was out most of last season, so I didn't consciously do anything most of it. Edmonton wants this trade because he knows his team is fucked in 3 years if he doesn’t trade one of his goalies. Look at his retirements coming up. All of this is true (except the "want" part). Can't fault someone for wanting to fill holes they have. If you’re wanting Fuhr you shouldn’t be having to give up your highest rated guy to a team who isn’t even starting him. He’s taking advantage of you when you should have him by the balls. Untrue. I don't build to win, I collect people I like. I like Fuhr more than anyone in this trade, but need a future, as you said above. I asked for Forsberg, but was told he was better than Sakic, and he would rather give up Sakic. He approached me about Fuhr, and countered with Sakic, so your assessment of this is off. ---------------- Here's my stance. Fuhr is the 5th highest rated goalie on this site. The 4 above him are higher rated AND have higher YRs, meaning if Pens wanted to acquire them, he would have to add to Sakic. I know Florida Panthers, so I know he is not trading Belfour. XX - Former Canadiens - XX has told me (in the banner inquiry PM) that he is not moving Roy. So to get a 92+ rated goalie, you have to pay for Hasek, or Brodeur. Do people think either of those teams will do Hasek/Brodeur for Sakic while still upgrading depth at the same time? I FULLY understand what you guys are seeing, but you aren't looking at the other options. I have said before, if any teams with better goalies want to step in and do a deal here without making Pens add, I am all in favour of stepping back. But Fuhr doesn't really have a comparable on the market that I am aware of. Lastly...This site is supposed to be about just letting GMs GM. That is why I play here and not on other reject-happy sites. Plus...this is not worse than Larson for Hall. |

I still think forsbergs the better player but ok, take out sakic if it will stop a mutiny and go with Forsberg and if losing Forsberg fucks me up ill just bug oilers to trade me sakic for Forsberg lateron I figure he owes me one after the things I done on manmma lolol jk jk. but also not really jk but jk. ya know???
