1. WHEN TO SWITCH GOALTENDERS IN A GAME
Teams can now decide at what point they want to switch their starting goaltender for a back-up goaltender in the game. This is based entirely on how many goals are scored against your goaltender, and not at all about how many goals you are down, or when the total goals have been applied to your team in the game.
Example: If you want to pull him after he lets in 5 goals (keeping in mind how high scoring NHL90 is), that 5th goal could come against your team in the final minute of the game, and then your goaltender is pulled.
The Default is set at 5.
Your options:
Anywhere between 1-10 goals against.
2. WHEN TO PULL YOUR GOALTENDER FOR AN EXTRA MAN
You can now decide when your team is down a goal when you want to pull your goaltender for an extra attacker:
The default is set at 1:00 remaining.
You can set your team to any 30 second interval between 0:30 and 3:00 minutes remaining in the game.
