Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, and 1 more like this

I'm delighted to announce we have reached our first crossroads on N90. We have a few holes in the trade mod system, and valid concerns have been expressed. Mods not having a chance to mod while online, worthy people not being "promoted" to mod, etc. We agree. So we have to go back to what we know works. And, like us or not (most of you don't, I'm genuinely sorry about that), we have a system that has worked well on another site, and we're going to implement that here moving forward.
Basically, your trade is approved. You post a trade, and unless its site-breakingly terrible, or, more likely, a new/inexperienced member is getting raped with a Ron Jeremy sized dong, the trade will be approved. It will be processed and finalized quickly and efficiently by Toronto Maple Leafs.
We don't need mods. You are not children, and there are many different, sometimes controversial, ways to build a team you like. It's not anybody's job to stop you from doing that, if that is your intent.
If you see a posted trade you think is site-breakingly terrible, no matter how many posts you have, you are free to express that objection in the trade thread. You are a person, your opinion matters. You don't need a colour or a label underneath your name to validate it.
--------
More generally, I am hoping to move this site in the direction of a community. We are all here because we share some passion for old school, 1990s NHL hockey. Most of us grew up with these guys, had their posters on our walls, pretended to be them playing on the streets, or on the ice. This site is about passion, and we share that. As long as we are not being dicks to one another, or trying to fuck the leniency of this system or anything like that, this way works. So let's get to it.
So now, let's start again. Fresh, like a baby's behind after a diaper change. And a bath. And lots of sprays and anti-toxins and such. ...Babies are gross.
