Game Summary:
What a wild second period. Bolts break the deadlock with St. Louis, and then the Avs hit with 3, Bolts come back to make it a 3-2 game, Avs push the lead, trading back and forth, until it ends as a 5-4 lead for Avs going to the third.
A quick strike by Connolly ties it up and both teams go back and forth (shots were 11-9 for the Bolts in the third) trying to find another opportunity. Kaberle puts them up by one with 5 minutes left, and in the dying 30 seconds of the game, Hudler takes an untimely penalty. The Bolts hung on to erase home ice advantage and take Game 1. I think we're in for a treat.
Perry and Tanguay combined for 4 points. St. Louis steals the show with a 4 point outing, Kaberle supporting with 3 points of his own.

Colorado scored first. And then they basically died. Bolts outshot them 36-20. Like, the Avs were so utterly shut down in this game, that fans were throwing things on the ice, or should have. A 4 goal explosion really hammered down the disparity when the game is on the line.
