Another final four is looming for the Lightning. The Rangers did wonderfully with whatever they had in the tank for this one, despite managing only 15 shots in the game. But the Bolts just kept coming. Wave after wave, goal after goal. Tomas Kaberle's 3 points led the charge, but another game and another 8 players with 2 points in the outing. Lightning are in full control as they head to New York for Game 3.

The Leafs finally broke through and it only took 71 minutes to finally do it against Lalime, and then 28 seconds later, they scored a gain, and then again, and then three more times. Neil tried to stop the bleeding, but the Leafs stormed over the Sens in this one to even the series. Final shots were 29 to 20 for Toronto, and Alex Pietrangelo gets first star with his three point outing.

When the Avalanche went up 5-4, Shea Weber took an untimely run at Keith Tkachuk and earned himself a five minute major. One assumes he was targeting teammate Perry. The Jets scored a powerplay goal to even it up. In the third, two quick goals by the Jets put them on top and it looked grim for Colorado. That's when Adam Foote said fuck off to everything, scored another goal to earn a hat trick, added an assist, and Williams scored a late goal for the eventual game winner. Final shots were 50-36 for the Jets. Saku Koivu had 4 assists and Adam Foote scored a hat trick and 4 points in the win.

Detroit scored 3 goals in the first period and for the second game in a row, they cracked champagne, sprayed the dressing room in their 20 minute victory, and then promptly died. Oilers outshot them 28-15. Heatley, Wolski and Johnson combined for six points, and Scott Gomez finished the game a -2.
