After looking at Leafs roster, I became moody and stopped negotiating based on ratings and started negotiating based on the roles each guy played on each of our respective teams. Finally I pissed him off enough that he just told me to fuck off and accepted this. (I think he just wanted Corey Hirsh and didn't want to let on, if I'm being honest).

2 second liners and his second line D for my whole second line.

I don't think there is any denying that Leafs is getting fleeced to high hell. But his depth allows for some fleecing.

Lol just seems odd that my deal with kings is perfectly fine so i suggested adding my 1st and his 2nd even tho it evens out but somehow this is ok? Just curious is all

Sure, doesn't mean you deserve a handout lmao. Your roster on paper is one of the deepest but they don't play well together, adding two of the best players in the league for major downgrades is not close to fair and isn't fair to the people, including myself, who paid full value for your picks.

If you want your team to do better then trade your core in fair or close to fair trades.

OH, this is not okay. This is absolutely Toronto getting raped (well, somewhat raped - the Messier trade is exponentially worse). But as admins we felt Toronto needed broken up, and he has been after my Colorado line for many seasons. I am in talks already to try to pay forward the charity, as I wasn't necessarily dying to add Forsberg+Sakic to my team as much as I felt he needed to lose them (or some of his 3rd line 90+ overall players). But those talks are ongoing, so we will see what happens.

I don't care how my team does. I want people I like. See my comments above about how I am already looking to move Forsberg and or Sakic to other teams. You could try inboxing me about it too, if you are interested, instead of...whatever it is this is.
