Can we make a note of this as a "charity trade" from our admin so as not to nuke the price of 95s and/or players with 2YRs? Meaning it can never be used as a precedent for why people should trade 95s for 80s under normal circumstances?

Wait what the actual fuck? "home town discount" as Messier kinda IS the New York Rangers. As the Oilers (Messier's other IS team), we hate it. But as an admin, watching another admin unload a 95 player from his stacked-as-fuck team, I'm all on board with it. |

Yeah, I'm fine with him unloading the 95 player, but for a 2nd round pick and an 80? When there are teams like Detroit Red Wings that also need charity... I feel like for this to be a charity trade it needs to be at least like an 85. This is a 15 overall difference like... this isn't even charity this is just donating a team Mark Messier like wtf Edit: I only mentioned Red Wings because idk who else sucks. Sabres? Canucks? Rangers for sure. Who else sucks? |

I haven't seen one person complain about Mike's team. I have. Mike has. These are the burdens we carry as the guys who try to run the site, while keeping everyone happy at the same time. The better we do, the less is public, and the more you guys "haven't seen" the problems we spend a lot of time and effort behind the scenes trying to fix (i.e. our Kronwall discussions). I'm not complaining, and I don't fault you for it. But it is simply 2 different realities we experience here. |
