SERIES TIED 1-1
Game Summary:
When the Pens opened the scoring quick with a goal by Lemieux, it looked like another grim start for the Leafs. But a penalty free period helped keep the special teams away, and the Leafs countered back with a goal by Forsberg and a sweet feed by Larionov to set up McCabe's one-timer. That open ice maintained through the second period as the Pens tried to skate with the Leafs. It played right into the Leafs strength, as Damphousse, Yzerman and MacLean put the team up 5-2. The third period kept going with the skating game, and Toronto buried 3 more to deadlock the series at one to bring it back to Toronto. McCabe's 3 point night takes first star.

SERIES TIED 1-1
Game Summary:
This was a hotly contested affair. The Blues opened the scoring and Selanne immediately came back with 2 goals of his own in under 5 minutes. A 4-1 first period gave the Hawks some momentum to keep riding until it was suddenly a 4-3 game with Muller closing the game midway through the third. But the Hawks top line broke through and did what they needed to do to add the insurance marker. The late PPG by Oates added some extra flavor to the game, but Chicago limited the Blues to just 7 shots in the third to keep the game shut down.
