LEADS SERIES 2-1
Game Summary:
This series went from a landslide win by Ducks, to landslide win by Kings, to tightly contested overtime thriller for the Kings. These teams may be almost perfectly matched! The game opened with a 5-1 lead in the first 40 minutes for the Kings, with Rob Blake leading the charge with a 3 point effort. And just as things were looking down for the Ducks, along comes Niedermayer to breathe some life back into his team with a goal and assist in just 43 seconds. 2 more goals to close out the third got the game evened up, but with just 45 seconds left, Pavol Demitra took a costly roughing penalty that bled the powerplay into overtime, where Doug Weight blasted a one-timer through for the game winner.
