The Capitals would not go quietly into the night, even with tempers flaring between Nieuwendyk and Rolston, leading to the latter taking a late run at Joe and getting ejected from the game with a 5 minute major. The Capitals held off the Flyers on the man advantage and skated their way to a doubled-up 8-4 victory to carry the series back home for Game 6. Rolston still maintained first star of the game with his three point night despite his match penalty. It will be interesting to see if the hate bleeds over into Game 6.
