Now that we are 10 seasons deep, NHL90 has evolved to new teams, new divisions, new conferences.
Out with the old, in with the new!

NEW CHALLENGES
Flyers and Penguins get new challenges with the Islanders and Capitals gone, and Buffalo coming in to try and spoil the party moving from a 6 team division to a 5 team division.
The perennial Adams division champs Bruins now get to take on new arrivals in [img src="https://i.imgur.com/MUGk6xN.png" src="https://i.imgur.com/MUGk6xN.png" class="smile" alt="![]()
"] who formerly have been at the top of the league with an All-American lineup, and the Maple Leafs who are just a few seasons removed from their Stanley Cup win.
The Smythe division gets the reigning Stanley Cup champion Capitals who have now moved to Anaheim to start anew. They bid goodbye to perennial juggernaut Winnipeg Jets.
The Jets instead head to the Norris division, where the Blackhawks and Blues were once interchanging rulers of the division. Now, that division sees a fresh Minnesota Wild club, the new Colorado Avalanche who are continuing their long-term development plants through the draft, and the Winnipeg Jets who are sure to spoil some of the fun.
The Pre-Season is alive. The buzz is in the air with fans returning for the next decade.
