Side note: I just saw the number 28 on this jersey and thought "wow what a boring number" and then it reminded me of minor hockey. There was only 1 year we had fun numbers. That year, I wore number 72. All other years I went with 19, but it also depended on the size of the jersey as some were bigger or smaller than others.
But anyways, isn't it kind of lame that you get customer jerseys made for kids hockey and then they have to wear the number 28? lol make those numbers fun and high ffs give us the lemieuxs and crosbys and shit.

Don't hate on Domi's new jersey! I was lucky enough that my number was 13 because of Sundin so I never saw an issue with it. That being said, I now wear 98 in beer league.

In an actually real post, I would like to propose to the league: The Rangers would like to apply to relocate to Oakland/San Francisco and become the California Golden Seals.
As many of you are aware, the City of New York has steadily been losing residents to more affordable locales, slowly but surely eroding our fanbase. One only has to look at our dreadful playoff performance to recognize the lack of support that we have been shown as of late in our current location. With more and more of our fanbase transitioning to baseball, football, basketball, and even curling, our supporters have slowly stopped attending our games - even last year we had to postpone a home game due to the Statewide Roller Derby Championships, as that outdrew us at the gate.
Contrast that with our desired location. A recent poll of area residents has shown enough support for two hockey teams, and demand for the type of entertainment we provide. Average area wealth is only increasing, and this kid Mark Zuckerberg even offered to make us a page on The Facebook, whatever that is.
I would like to leave for you an excerpt of a local SF area news article:
"Hundreds of fans gathered in San Francisco today, wearing homemade green and gold California Golden Seals jerseys and holding signs with various pro-Seals slogans. Danny Dessar, president of local non-profit "Golden Years of Hockey", had this to say: "Growing up, the Golden Seals were my life. I had posters on every bedroom wall, five different jerseys, Golden Seal curtains... I loved that team. They taught me how to lose well and the power of good sportmanship in defeat. Then my heart was broken when they moved to Cleveland of all places. Forget Erie PA - the Barons were the Mistake on the Lake. But now, I hear there's a chance that great wrong could be righted. There's a chance hockey could be back in its rightful green and gold. So, I ask - plead, even - the NHL: Do the right thing, and Seal the deal." The hundreds gathered echoed his final cry, and shouts of "Seal the deal! Seal the deal!" rang through the evening until the crown dispersed, satisfied in their efforts in returning NHL hockey to the greater Bay Area".
Thank you for the consideration. Let's Seal this deal.

That was epic.... on a side note, what better time for Whalers to sail off into the sunset of San Jose! We won a cup, and had one last valiant push, and now look to relocate as the San Jose Sharks!

Original six teams won't be moving, but we'll look and see if there's other teams we might not "care" about being other places, but ultimately the work load is all on Justin so it's up to him. Edmonton OilersRequests To Review: Hartford Whalers to San Jose Sharks New York Rangers to California Golden Seals Chicago Blackhawks to Ottawa Senators
