6. Zigmund Palffy - Right Wing - Czechoslovakia - HK Nitra (Czechoslovakia)
A very experienced winger with a good offensive game. A good skater even after losing some speed over the years. Has a sharp and precise shot that he likes to use often. Plays well with the puck and is a reliable goal and point scorer. Not a very physical player.
Wayne Gretzky referred to Palffy as one of the most dynamic and talented players in the game. Palffy's game is quiet but skillful and is often not recognized for his efforts and skill. He is perhaps the most underrated high profile player in the draft.
PROS:
Can score as well as he can pass.
CONS:
He always seems to look either confused or disappointed, or both?
