I decided that instead of going for a day 1 launch, I would hang tight and try and get through some of my pile of games that are backlogged. Right now I'm wrapping up a remastered go at Skyrim. Then I'll be jumping over to Red Dead 2, Borderlands 3, Outer Worlds, and then I still have a bunch of other odds and ends games I haven't gotten to, like Evil Within 2, Resident Evil 7. I'm probably a year or two away just on backlogs, and I don't think I'll be missing out on much for the first little bit, especially given the limited time I even have to commit to playing. God I hated Resident Evil 7. |

If I end up getting one it would be the PS5. I didn't have any reason to pre-order one at launch but my PS4 is nearing the end of its' life (my controllers are a stiff breeze away from being an $80 replacement) and I was going to buy the PS5 at some point anyway.
I plan on checking if there are any available for order on the 12th and if so just bite the bullet. I may only really be interested in Devil May Cry 5 right now but playing NHL 21 or Genshin through the PS5 will be fine enough for me for now.
Unless I change my mind again lol

Did you play red dead redemption ? Read dead 2 is a good game but very sad because you know what happens to your favorite characters ( if you played red dead one ) . Great story telling though |
