After another thorough and comprehensive review of the ratings that are to come into the league over the next 25 seasons, we will be making one specific adjustment:
The 800 Games Played Rating
Any player that has played over 800 games in their NHL career will automatically start their rating at 80 overall.
This will come into effect beginning at the S6 Draft, and retroactively for all players that have been drafted into the league, regardless of whether they were traded or auctioned away, etc.
Some teams may be negatively affected by this change, but it should theoretically balance out hopefully immediately, but at the very least draft pick values have now been boosted for all players who were projected to be 78-79 overalls as now immediate 80 overall players.
We will post the full list in the off-season for all adjusted players.

To clarify, this was already supposed to be the case from the beginning, when we started making ratings for everyone coming in via the draft. But we realized a lot of people slipped through this crack, so the fix is being made to correct that.
