*Trade set to occur after the playoffs* TO: 1995 1st Round (4th Overall) (Bryan Berard 87 D 13 YR) TO: Adam Graves 87 F 9 YR 1995 1st Round (via , pick TBD) (Jean-Sebastien Giguere 89 G 19 YR) Sacrifices to make in order to get who I want. Graves has been such a consistently good player, this season was a down one, but I like the prospect of a future player that will fill that void. Flames accept. Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

*sigh*
This is the second time now in a matter of days that someone backs out of a trade AFTER both parties agree to a deal. I understand this time is still not technically a moment of trades, but it was initially verbally agreed upon, which should have meant that the deal should have went through.
It's like if Edmonton traded Gretzky in '88, and when Gretzky was starting to cry in his press conference Pocklington and Sather come in and say 'Actually, we're gonna keep Gretzky. I know you guys have already flown Carson and the rest here, but we're now gonna keep Gretzky. Thanks'. Like, it's ridiculous.
Again, I get why. New Jersey won a round in the playoffs, the pick moves down a couple spots. But, seriously. That shouldn't happen AFTER both parties agree.
EDIT: I hate to rant about this, because it's gonna cause a conversation, but I'm just pissed, because it throws my plans off, and I gotta scramble again. Like, fucking stick to a deal.

The ONLY time the pick will move is if the team wins the Cup. I'm not doing runner-ups either. If Devils wins, then it moves. That's it. If you and Caps cannot agree to mutually part on this trade, let me know.

I appreciate it, Caps. I know I probably should have kept it private and sought to deal with it in PM's, and my post was kind of just a result of immediate frustration, so I'll apologize to everyone for my outburst.
