Also, will say this one last time; my goal from DAY ONE has been to make an All-American team. The only thing wrong with the Islanders at this moment is the lack of defensive help. Realistically, I'm maybe two or three pieces away from making this team a perennial playoff team.

Is Marc Savard American? No.
Is Milan Hejduk American? Take a wild guess.

To you guys, those picks mean astronomical. To me, they're practically useless if I cant pick an American. And why waste a top pick on a lower rated American? You cant use that excuse to me. I maximized my value with the picks getting Richter, a goalie for the present, probably one of the greatest american goaltenders ever to play the game and eventually getting Guerin, Carson and the rest.

Now, dont criticize me when you dont even know my plan, despite me telling you guys from the start. Sometimes it's a slow process, and it doesnt involve one massive trade involving some of the greatest to play the game to turn a franchise around.
