- Five 40+ goal scorers (Gartner, Roenick, Gagner, Kozlov and Nieuwendyk).
- Dominik Hasek back-stopped them in 43 wins.
- The acquisition of Murray Craven helped lead the team into their first playoff berth in NHL90 history.
- Top 5 players are all 30+ goal scorers (Craven, Nolan, Lindros, Clark and Gilmour).
- Owen Nolan was in the scoring title consideration.
THE BAD:
- Has a middling Penalty Kill success rate (66%).
- Is 8th most penalized playoff team.

- Patrick Roy's solid 38 win performance.
- Not a single player finished a minus in the plus-minus category.
- Alex Mogilny leading the charge with 30 goals and 91 points.
- The complimentary breakout season of Benoit Hogue (35 goals and 78 points).
