I would argue the team makeup has poor chemistry. Not wanting to rub salt in the wound, but you had a powerhouse club before mortgaging for Crosby Ovechkin. Might be worthwhile to shop one and build around the other.

I had a powerhouse once I acquired Crosby. Probably would have won the cup tbh. Team still shouldn't be outside of the playoffs, but oh well
