To Quebec Tomas Holmstrom 83 F 14 YR Sami Salo 82 D 16 YR Ken Klee 80 D 11 YR Kelly Buchberger 80 F 5 YR EDM 2005 1st* EDM 2006 1st** DET 2008 1st - No conditions To Detroit Adam Graves 87 F 5 YR Esa Tikkanen 87 F 1 YR Russ Courtnall 87 F 1 YR Steve Duchesne 85 D 4 YR Chris Phillips 83 D 17 YR *If pick is 1st overall then it is protected and Quebec can decide to keep the pick or swap it for any non protected 2007 1st. remains originally conditioned by Oilers, Wings now in possession of pick, 2007 no longer in effect for this specific trade.**If picks falls out of top 5 Quebec can decide to keep it or swap it for any non protected 2008 1st. Mike - Condition removed as Quebec subsequently traded pick without maintaining protection, and the trade itself is considered the "swap" as is not responsible for the satisfaction of original trade between Detroit and Quebec.

Is this rape to make up for the rape of the previous trade(s)?

I am not confident Austin knows enough about what he is doing or has the memory to adhere to all those clauses.

Conditions were adjusted because Detroit traded their 2006 1st to New Jersey. In it's place are new conditions and DET 2008 1st

To Quebec EDM 2005 1st* EDM 2006 1st** DET 2008 1st - No conditions *If pick is 1st overall and drops out of top 10 Quebec can decide to keep the pick or swap it for any non protected 2007 1st. **If picks falls out of top 5 Quebec can decide to keep it or swap it for any non protected 2008 1st. Trying to understand this, because I can't make any sense of it. 2005 1st EDM - (1st Overall Protection?) 2006 1st EDM - (Top 5 Protected?) 2008 1st DET - Not Protected That? Because the language of the 2005 pick literally suggests it's top 10 protected after being 1st overall protected.

Essentially only the 2005 1st overall is protected. The other two is if the pick falls out of that range then I can decide to keep it or switch it for a different year

Not a fan of double conditions. I need you guys to pick one or the other either settle in the middle as a top five pick protection or go with the first overall protection or go with the top 10 protection
