Fans believe Boston was cursed after they traded him to the Yankees for the record. Like... they didnt win the world series until 2004, and it's considered one of the worst trades in baseball history. And Mario could be traded, but it's harder when he has so many years remaining.

Guys I get he's amazing but there is a legitimate 3 overalls difference between him and Sakic. I'm seriously dumbfounded as to how this is even a conversation.

its an amazing offer that's not my question I want to be clear to everyone that's not my question because I can see the numbers. its about if you guys had Lemieux would you make this trade for this amazing offer for Mario Lemieux? please be honest I can use the input.

The numbers are more than worth it, but with the name value? I dont know if I'm trading Mario with 15+ YR... but that's just me. Others will have different opinions.

YES, only reason I am offering it is to destroy the rest of my team so I can tank. You get a 94 and a 90 with 2 decades of playing left on top of two more mid 80 players.

I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole if it wasn't for me wanting to tank and build from the draft.

Holy shit. That is a TOUGH one.

I might have to abstain from comment on this one. Joe Sakic is one of my 3 favourite players ever. But having Lemieux-Jagr is one of the absolute best duos in NHL history. So if I were Pens, there's a good chance I would keep them both.

But if i were to trade one, this type of offer is what it might take to pry them from my hands. It's about as close to "an offer you can't refuse" as I think you are liable to get.
