I asked him tonight and he said me and bruins were close. I upped my offer to as high as i am willing to go. Whether he changes his mind by morning is of his own preference.
If anyone wants to outdo that by all means. This whole exercise was to make nieds available to the league before being dealt.

That was the one deal that I thought might beat me. It was very much in line with what Canucks was chasing for his future plans based on our conversations over the last week.

He was going to give you Neidermayer for Demitra though. Getting Brodeur for Alfredsson made your offer a no-brainer for him I'm sure, haha. |

You never know around here. |

Brodeur has only had one good season so I thought it was a bid that would win. I even offered Peca who was drafted by the Nucks instead of Johansson and Niinimaa. But he must really like Brodeur. I put up the best offer I could. |
