Why is Vokoun still starting when for the 2nd month in a row I have asked for him to not start anymore. This is crazy. My team would be out of a playoff spot if Moog had been playing all the games as I asked. Moog or Healy Period for the rest of the season

Why is Vokoun still starting when for the 2nd month in a row I have asked for him to not start anymore. This is crazy. My team would be out of a playoff spot if Moog had been playing all the games as I asked. Moog or Healy Period for the rest of the seasonVokoun came in and you had your lines set to him, then you asked Moog to play, and he's started the last 8 games straight. Whether he FINISHED those games is another story, but Moog has played almost all of January. I see that you have HEALY now listed as your backup. He wasn't bolded, and I noticed the lines were different so I fixed those but without paying much attention to goaltending I looked at "Moog is starter, yes he is, ok, next". I'm sorry I missed that change, but without the bold I am adjusting the lines and goaltending and making sure backups are playing and whatnot for 21 total teams. Moog started 19 total games for you. 11 of which were over the first few months as back up to Hasek. Moog: 8GP 4W 4L in January. Your team played a total of 14 games in January. When a goaltender is pulled, the goaltender that finished the game is the one that is attributed the win or loss. In that case, your team lost well enough that he was pulled in 6 of those 14 games, attributing those wins/losses to Vokoun instead. In his full games played, Moog wrapped up 8 games with an even 0.500 record. In the six games Vokoun finished, as he was set as your backup, Vokoun 6GP 4W 2L. He pulled out a lot of those games, but given that teams set their pulled goaltender for a specific amount of goals, these games could go either way if it's tight like a 5-5 game but you pull him at goal 6, and then your team scores a few, etc. Either way, your goaltending was only mis-adjusted at the end of December, but given that your request for goaltending is on strange things I need to spend extra time on such as "if X wins, play him again" etc. it can become a bit complicated. All in all, I'm sorry your tanking efforts are failing and your team is too good to lose. Hopefully Healy can help you lose more. Also, Colorado Avalanche is right, as long as primary goaltenders get a fair share, you can play whoever you want in net, but your team deserves an opportunity to compete. In this case, I did not do this on purpose though. I also must apologize that you are in a division with Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild for they have turned the suck up to 11 and are ruining your tank for you. |
