Part of this delay was administrative. We worked out a deal last night, then wanted the league to look over it to make sure there was no additional drama (since my last 2 trades caused shitstorms). Administration was busy and missed the message, and that set us back about 5 hours. Now I think we are waiting on xx - Former Calgary Flames for final confirmation - and he works today.

And in fairness to everyone involved, negotiations on this started long before the picks were up. It just takes time when people also have real life to worry about.

We're all doing our best, cook, and we'll get there, as was said, "as soon as possible", as sooner has not been possible yet.

I would still have Jovo if I could have done my deal, but I couldn't find a taker. But I guess if I would have taken a day and delayed the draft I might have found one. Not sure where lol but maybe lol. I don't know anybody in this league so kinda shot to crap on that one
