XX - Former Devils - XX - you are comfortable moving what I believe is one of your all-time favourite players, who had one of his best seasons ever with you in NJ, a) already and b) just because he had a bad playoff? You are sure about this.....? And have you tried shopping them around? I ahve never heard you talk excitedly about any of the people you are getting back or anything. And aside from that, I still feel like you are looking at 2 of the best players this site will see for another 10 seasons, so while this return is fine, the draft is shallow as fuck, and 87-89 players are not rare.

XX - Former Devils - XX - you are comfortable moving what I believe is one of your all-time favourite players, who had one of his best seasons ever with you in NJ, a) already and b) just because he had a bad playoff? You are sure about this.....? And have you tried shopping them around? I ahve never heard you talk excitedly about any of the people you are getting back or anything. And aside from that, I still feel like you are looking at 2 of the best players this site will see for another 10 seasons, so while this return is fine, the draft is shallow as fuck, and 87-89 players are not rare. I understand what the draft is and what they will be for many years. I understand what I can get with the draft picks. I had hoped for more out of what is suppose to be the 2 best players in the league. The guys I am getting will produce pretty even , even if it was just Kariya,Bondra and Arnott for Jagr and Lemieux. So I look at it as Jovo,Graves and the 2 picks as a big plus for me in this trade. I have one more year with both Neely and Savard to make a big shot at the cup and I can't afford to have another Jagr and Lemieux flop in playoffs next year. I have thought everything out and I feel like all of this will give me a much better shot at the cup for the next few years. I definitely had no clue that Hawks was Cook. Not at all in the slightest bit... |
